The Danoise Pendant Lamp does something most pendants don't — it looks completely different depending on whether it's on or off. Off, the mirror-finish smoky glass reflects its surroundings like a dark, polished sphere. On, the inner white diffuser comes alive and the shade transforms into a warm, glowing orb that pulls the eye upward and holds it there.

It's a pendant that earns attention in both states. Over a dining table, a kitchen island, or in a cluster over an open-plan space, it functions as a piece of jewelry for the ceiling — precise, considered, and impossible to ignore.

One Shade. Two Completely Different Objects. When the light is off, the mirror-finish smoky glass acts as a one-way reflector — the room sees itself in the shade, and the lamp reads as a dark, sculptural sphere. When the light turns on, the internal white diffuser takes over and the exterior glass becomes a source of warm, even light. The effect is immediate and deliberate: a pendant that is decorative by day and atmospheric by night.

One or Three — Both Work A single Danoise over a small dining table is a clean, precise statement. Three in a close cluster over a kitchen island or longer table creates a constellation effect — the smoky glass reflections interact with each other and the room in a way that a single lamp can't produce. Space them 20–30 cm apart and hang at the same height for a composed, architectural result.
